Low Flow Masks – Masks of Partial Re-Breathing
Description
- The oxygen dosage has a valve between the mask and the reservoir, which rises on inhaling and goes down on exhaling.
- The mask has two side holes and one of the holes is sealed by a valve, preventing the oxygen and CO2 partial exit.
- It is attached at the base of a reservoir and one side is connected to a non-toxic PVC hose.
Function
- Patient’s Ventilation. It is done by moderate tables where be necessary the partial mixing of aspirated gases to provide maximum oxygen inhalation.
